Kenneth Patrick "Pat" Speedy

Kenneth Patrick “Pat” Speedy, 73, of Saltsburg, formerly of Arizona passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Tuesday, January 6, 1952, in Avonmore, Pa. the son of the late Donald C. and Ann Speedy. Pat was a 1970 graduate of Kiski Area High School, where he played baseball and was on the gymnastics team. He was an avid baseball fan, loved the outdoors and working in the yard, watching hockey, and will always be remembered by those who knew him as a” gentle soul”. Pat was employed by Century Link as a Technical Engineer, in Arizona until his retirement in 2019, when he moved back to Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debra Ann Balest Speedy, his daughter Jennifer Speedy of Saltsburg, his grandchildren; Brandon and Kenzie, two sisters, Coleen Summerson and her husband, Bob of Saltsburg and Lore Speedy-Bowers and her husband Mark, of West Newton and a brother, Scott Speedy of Munhall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother James Theodore “Teddy” Speedy. At Pat’s request all services are private.
