Karl Josef Giese

Karl J. Giese, 41, of Butler, PA passed away Sunday Sept.11 exactly 70 years to the day his mother was born.  He was victim to a sudden and catastrophic stroke.  He came to Carson City with his parents as a toddler and grew up to graduate from Carson High.  After a four year enlistment as an airman in the world's finest Navy, he attended UNR and was the first in his family with a college degree.
  Life events took him to Butler, PA where he worked as a technician for a government contractor until his untimely death.  He is proceeded by his mother Carletta and survived by the mother of his children, Kara, son Eli (13), daughter Aria (11) and his father, Paul.
