Joye Lyn (Stiffey) Myers

Joye Lyn Myers, 78 years old, born Thursday, December 27, 1945,  passed from this life to life eternal on Monday, January 1, 2024 at the Grove at North Huntingdon in Irwin surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Emerson and Katherine (Posney) Stiffey, husband Donald Myers, son Russell Myers, daughter, Janet Doland, sister, Sally Hess, brother-in-law Leonard Hess and father-in-law Harry Miller. She is survived by her son Kenneth  Doland (Lurinda) of WV, sister Linda Hess of Greensburg, mother-in-law Betty Miller of Apollo, brother-in-law John Hess of Saltsburg, and sister-in law Cheryl Shaffer. 10 Grandchildren, Michelle Myers of Natrona Heights,  Heather (Trevor) Burch of Indiana, Meghan (Andrew) Konkey of TX, Jessica Doland, Donald J.. Doland, Abigail Doland of WV, Charles Haines of Natrona Heights, James Smith Jr. of VA, Travis Smith of VA, and Zachary Smith of VA,. Daughter-in-law Marsha Myers of Indiana, Aunt Joan Posney of Apollo. 7 Great Grandchildren, Madison Haines of Natrona Heights, Ethan Haines ofNatrona Heights, Urijah Zukowski of Natrona Heights, Chloeanna Konkey of TX, William Konkey of TX, Oliver Burch of Indiana, and Harper Burch of Indiana.  6 Nieces and Nephews, Eric Hess of Elderton, Wendy Hess of Saltsburg, Ron (Tammy) Nolf of Manor, George Nolf of  Uniontown, Katherine (Bruce) Sleasman of Youngwood, and Sheila Alcorn besides various cousins. Joye worked at various restaurants as a waitress before going to Thermal Glass in Murrysville then Guerentz Importing and Exporting in Forest Hills. A memorial service will be held in the spring.
