Josephine Orvosh Grimm, 88, of Avonmore, Pa. passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Pa. She was born on Sunday, December 17, 1937 the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Braznick Orvosh. To know Josephine was to love her. She will forever be remembered for her bright smile, contagious laugh, and vibrant personality. She enjoyed cleaning, playing bingo, watching television and tending to her plants. Josephine loved her family fiercely and was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister who would do anything for the people she loved, especially for her granddaughter. She will be forever missed by those that loved her, cared for her, and laughed with her. She is survived by her granddaughter, Alyssa Grimm (Ghaven) of Apollo, her daughter-in-law, Tricia Grimm of Avonmore and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Carl “Tiger” Grimm, her husband, Carl Grimm, her sisters, Helen Cup, Margaret Davis, Mary Ghiardi and Dorothy Wilden, her brothers, Robert Orvosh, Edward Orvosh, Andrew Orvosh, Michael Orvosh, John Orvosh, and William Orvosh and her niece, Linda Cup Pfeifer. Funeral arrangements are private.
