Joseph R. "Bob" Felgar

Joseph R. “Bob” Felgar, 93, of Apollo, Pa., passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Platinum Ridge in Brackenridge, Pa.  He was born on Friday, April 5, 1929 in Scottdale, Pa. the son of the late Robert L. and Madeline Hawk Felgar.  He was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. Before his retirement, he was a motor inspector at Allegheny Ludlum Steel.  He was a member and past elder of Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church, the Apollo Elks and the Spring Church Sportsman Club. He is survived by  his daughter; Kathy Bennese and her husband, John, of Allison Park, his son; David Felgar and his wife, Danette, of Saltsburg, his 3 grandchildren; Aaron Bennese and his wife, Christel, of Fort Lewis, Wa., Dominick Bennese and his wife, Viviane of Sarasota, Fl. and Angela Hoerner and husband, Adam, of Glenshaw and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy White Felgar, his great granddaughter, Xandria Bennese, his brothers; Donald, Thomas and Duane Felgar and his sister; JoAnn Fleckenstein.  A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church, 1668 State Route 56, Spring Church, Pa. 15686 with Reverend Dr. Peter C. Bower, officiating. Interment will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell, Pa.
