John "Jack" A. Shoupe

John “Jack” A Shoupe 87, of Salina, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at William Penn Senior Suites, in Jeannette, PA.  He was born Saturday, May 12, 1934, in Salina, PA, the son of the late Walter and Louise McClelland Shoupe.  Before his retirement, he worked at General Refractories in Salina as a laborer.  Jack was a United States Air Force Veteran.  He enjoyed hunting, was an avid golfer, remodeling and polka dancing.  He is survived by two sons, Bruce A Shoupe and his wife, Lillian, of Bell Township and Jeffrey A Shoupe and his wife, Judy, of Cabot, four grandchildren, Lt. Colonel Bryan Shoupe and his wife, Lisa, of Lumberton, NJ, Kelsey Kansler, and her husband, Zachary, of Murrysville, Jessica Shoupe of Lawrenceville, and Jarrod Shoupe of Cabot and 6 great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Jeannine Edder Shoupe, and a sister, Audrey Y Nearhoff.  At Jack’s request, all visitation and services will be private.  Interment will be held at Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont.
