John V. “JB” Bridge
August 18, 1953 – June 3, 2025

John V. Bridge, known to friends and family as JB, age 71, of Souderton, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on Tuesday, August 18, 1953, John was a graduate of Carrick High School. In his early years, he was the proud owner of several pizza shops, combining his entrepreneurial spirit with his love for food. John had a lifelong passion for hot rod cars and was happiest when near the beach — his favorite place to relax and recharge.

He is survived by his long-time companion and fiancée, Janet Kerlin. He leaves behind his four children: Natalie & Shawn Dougherty, John Bridge & Chris Lear, Rebecca Bridge, and Joseph & Ha Bridge and his four beloved grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

John was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and living his life that way he wanted. He will be remembered fondly by many for his warmth, love of good food, and fondness for traveling.

There will be no formal services at this time. The family will host a celebration of John’s life at a later date, where all who knew and loved him are welcome to join in remembering and honoring him. The family invites those who knew and loved him to honor his memory in their own way — whether by sharing a meal with family, taking a drive, or enjoying time by the beach. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
