John Thomas Deselich
March 11, 1961 – June 19, 2025
Our beloved brother, John Thomas Deselich, of New Brighton PA, age 64, passed away on Thursday June 19, 2025, due to a heart attack. He was born on March 11, 1961, in Beaver Falls, PA, to the late Peter J. Deselich Jr. and late Beverly A. Deselich Fuss Marlow. John was a graduate of Blackhawk high school and attended Pennsylvania State University majoring in chemistry. John worked at Hussey Copper as a metallurgist but was mostly self-employed as a carpenter during his life in the residential construction and roofing industry.
John is survived by his older sisters Paula Deselich Hirtz of Cary, NC, and Denise Tagg of Hayesville, NC, and his younger brother Eric Deselich of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by his half-sister Melissa Gallagher and step-father Reverend Gary Fuss of Jacksonville, FL.
John had many friends and was a frequent member of the Beaver Falls Owls Club and the White Township Inn. He had a quick sense of wit and a nickname for everyone. John was known as “Dutch.” John enjoyed cooking and took great pleasure in preparing and providing meals for his friends, especially during the holidays as a way of giving back. John loved vacationing with his siblings in the mountains and beaches of North Carolina and enjoyed biking, kayaking, and fishing. John always called the Beaver Falls/New Brighton area home and never wanted to leave. John will be greatly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.
