John Negrich 92 of Avonmore, formerly of Salina, passed away Friday August 17, 2018 at Concordia of Monroeville. He was born August 27, 1925 in Springdale the son of the late Stephen and Emma Kinosz Negrich. Before his retirement he was employed at Edgewater Steel for over twenty years as a welder. John loved to travel, enjoyed woodworking, eating out, (especially Chinese) Polkas, Line dancing and Obereks. He is survived by his loving companion of twenty-five years, Mary Lou Barker, her children; (Whom he considered his own), William Barker and his wife Judy of Salina, Cindy Townsend and her husband Al of Parks Twp. and Kim Condor and her husband Bob of Salina, seven grandchildren, and seven great- grandchildren, two sisters; Emily McClain and her husband Richard of Tennessee, and Susan Smith and her husband Gerald of Harwick, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Evelyn Detman Negrich, nine brothers and three sisters. Family will receive friends on Monday August 20, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd., 400 Indiana Avenue, Avonmore. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10:30A.M. until time of services at 11:30 A.M. Services will be conducted in the funeral home at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
