Janice "Jan" Eileen (Sill) Bufalini

Janice “Jan” Eileen Sill Bufalini, 85, of Avonmore, Pa. passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.. She was born on Tuesday, September 26, 1939 in Blawnox, Pa. the daughter of the late Harry K. and Evelyn E. Jackey Sill. Before her retirement, she worked as a nursing assistant at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Pa. She loved rafting, camping, fishing, riding with her husband on his motorcycle and going out to eat, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her dogs, Clyde and Sampson. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Harry Bufalini, her children, Evelyn Cavitt and her husband, Tim of Avonmore, Harry “Butch” Welch of Washington Twp., Danny Bufalini and his wife, Kathy of Greensburg, Alan Bufalini of Avonmore, Bruce Bufalini and his wife, Juanita of Indiana and Randy Bufalini of Avonmore, her grandchildren, Jordan, Brady, Logan, Ayse and Asya and a great grandchild, Remi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Midge Wheless an Alverda Thomas and her brother, Norman A. Sill. A Celebration of Jan’s life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Italian Club, 426 Westmoreland Ave., Avonmore, Pa. from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
