James Allen Riggle

James Allen Riggle 71, of Apollo passed away on Friday October 1, 2021 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. He was born on Monday December 26, 1949 in Apollo the son of the late Claud Vernon and Lurline E. Espey Riggle. Before his retirement, James was employed by Allegheny Ludlum in Brackenridge as a hydro fitter for over 33 years. James enjoyed hunting and playing bingo. His passion was his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Lee Kowaluk Riggle, two children; Michelle R. Shedlock and her husband Steven of Spring Church, and Joshua A. Riggle of Apollo, two grandchildren; Hayden P. Shedlock and Camryn R. Shedlock, a sister Mary Lou Ramer of Youngstown, Ohio, and several young and old “Adopted Porch Children”. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a brother, David Hughes and four sisters; Charlotte Rodnicki, Joann Stapinski, Florence Riggle and Betty Ann McFarland. Family will receive friends on Wednesday October 6, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. until time of service at 6:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 1916 Moore Ave. North Apollo, Pa. Services will be conducted in the funeral home at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Bob Shallenberger officiating. Private interment will be held in Spring Church.
