James Edward Holt

James Edward Holt, 77, of Apollo, Pa. passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at his home. He was born on Saturday, August 24, 1946, in Mobile, Alabama, the son of the late Earlie Mae Holmes. He was of the Pentecostal faith and loved going to church. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, shooting pool and playing video games. He was a handyman, loved the Steelers and riding motorcycles (he rode with Sin City of Pittsburgh for 10 years). He is survived by his wife of 11 years Juanita “Mama D” Caviness Holt, his children; James Edward Holt Jr. of Coraopolis and Courtney Holt of Pittsburgh, his stepchildren; Terri Penn, Andrea Penn, Eileen Penn, Andrea Freeman and Yvette Kelley, 2 grandchildren, his sister; Larita Taylor (Torry Jones) of Arnold and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Kings Deliverance Holiness Church in North Vandergrift, Pa.
