Ilone Faye Stine

Ilone “Faye” Stine, 76, of Avonmore, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Communities of Indian Haven in Indiana.  She was born Sunday, January 24, 1943, in Trees Mills, PA (Westmoreland County), the daughter of the late Elmer C. (Sr.) and Sarah Grace Clawson Stine.  She was a 1961 graduate of Greensburg High School.  Before her retirement in February 2006, she was a sales clerk for over 33 years at Fatur’s Market in Delmont.  She was a member of the Trees Mills Alliance Church where she was very devoted to Sunday school and Bible Study.  She loved knitting and enjoyed crafts.  Most recently she attended Faith Alliance Church in Saltsburg, she loved the Lord and time spent reading the Bible. “She not only had faith in Jesus Christ, she lived it”.  She is survived by a nephew, James Stine (Lisa Kolesar) of Aultman, and two nieces, Merry Lou Pratt of Indiana and Jennifer Brezina, and numerous grand nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lou Stine in infancy and Mildred Brezina and a brother, Elmer C. “Ted” Stine Jr., a sister-in-law, Florence Stine and a brother-in-law, Richard Brezina.  Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 31, from 2PM to 4Pm and 6PM to 8PM, in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home, LTD, 400 Indiana Avenue, Avonmore, PA.  Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11AM in the funeral home with Pastor James Stine officiating.  Interment will follow at Congruity Cemetery, in New Alexandria, PA.  To view and send online condolences visit us at www.corridonifuneralhomes.com
