Ida Carmela (Daniel) Weikel

Ida Carmela (Daniel) Weikel, 71, of Aliquippa, Pa. passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024. She was born on Wednesday, July 15, 1953, in Calabra, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria (Greco) Daniel. Ida graduated from Aliquippa High School in the class of 1971. Ida loved to read, plant flowers and going to play bingo with her friends and family before she became ill. She took great pride in her family. Her grandchildren and great grandson being her everything. She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Weikel, her son, Samuel Weikel, her sister, Elena Rodriquez, her brother, Joe (Judy) Daniel, her sister in law, Colleen Weikel, her nephews, John-Joe Rodriquez, Christopher (Karen) Daniel, Jonathan (Kim) Daniel, Angelo, Chad and Seth Daniel, Donnie and Nathan, her nieces, Lena Rodriquez, Silvana and Maria Daniel, her grandchildren, Adelaide, Salvatore, Devin, Mario, Myka, Aivah, Emmitt, Elijah, Nakayla, Angel, Rashaun, Koree, Tony and Brendan, her great grandchildren, Paul Weikel Jr., Jay, Gra, Bea, Sa, Nova and Xavier and her special friends, Carol Lyle, Debbie Bolton, Nancy Moye, Irene Reddick, Wonda Crosby and Shirley Williams, plus many others. Also, her fur babies, Kelo Tiny Tim, Isis, Leo and Oscar.  In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Peary Lee Weikel, her brothers, Florindo Daniel and Idolo Daniel, her grandson, Paul Lee Robert Weikel and her nephews, Paul Rodriguez and Leon Smith. As per her wishes ,there will be no viewing. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 6, 2024, at 4 PM at the Holiday Inn Express, 105 Stone Quarry Rd. Monaca, Pa. We would like to thank Allegheny Transport, Fresenius Kidney Care, Viola’s Managing Group and all of her doctors that took part in her care.
