Helen Victoria (Skrot) Kvartek

Helen Victoria Skrot Kvartek, 86, of South Greensburg, Pa., passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at McGee Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born on Monday, May 25, 1936 in Vandergrift, Pa., the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Sobey Skrot. She enjoyed taking walks, dancing polkas, going to the gym daily and enjoyed her trips to the casino, but she most loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children; Sandra Marie Williams of Slickville, Caroline Whitlinger and her husband, Tom, of Sigel and Lisa Walker of Greensburg, 4 grandchildren; Corinda Egley of Greensburg, Brian Shellhamer and his wife, Brandi, of Spring Church, Jaimie Femc –Messina  of Pittsburgh and Jason Femc of New Kensington, 6 great grandchildren, her brother; Edward Skrot and his wife, Nancy, of Maysville and her sister; Patricia Ausk and her husband, Raymond, of Gilpin Twp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Egley, her brothers; Michael and George Skrot and her sister; Eleanor Painter, Blanche Pityk,  Maryann Komiskey, Dorothy Zett and Victoria Morlacci.. Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Kelly L Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa. Parting Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home on March 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Father John Euker, officiating. Interment will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Apollo. Pa.
