Harold Leland Peace

Harold Leland Peace 78, of North Apollo, Pa. passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Natrona Heights, Pa. He was born on Monday, May 5, 1947, in Apollo, Pa., the son of the late Willam and Violet Morrow Peace.  Harold was a retired police officer and constable in North Apollo and was a recipient of the Carnegie Hero Award. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, watching dirt track racing and will be missed by his dog, Amos. He was a loving husband and father to his family and a loving uncle to many. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Ann Groholski Peace of North Apollo, his children; Joseph Peace of North Apollo and Jennifer Rumbaugh and her husband, Richard of North Apollo and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret McKean, William Peace, Thomas Peace, Robert Peace, John Peace, George Peace, Ronald Peace and Lewis Peace and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. All funeral arrangements are private.
