Gloria Ann (Nepsha) Shannon

Gloria Ann Nepsha Shannon, 74, of Saltsburg, Pa. passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born on Friday, September 28, 1951 in Iselin, Pa. the daughter of the late John and Doris Hullenbaugh Nepsha. Before her retirement, she worked as a bank teller for S & T Bank in Saltsburg, Pa. for 38 years. She enjoyed gardening, biking, hiking and especially baking her famous chocolate chip cookies that she referred to as celebration cookies. She enjoyed going to the family camp in Marionville, Pa. but most of all she loved attending her children and grandchildren’s events. The love of her life was her husband, Ron. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronald Ralph Shannon, her sons, Dr. Patrick R. Shannon and his wife, Kristy of Blairsville and Steve J. Shannon and his wife, Brittany of Blairsville, her grandchildren, Brady, Ian, Avery and Harper Shannon, her siblings, Paula Nepsha of Saltsburg, Barb Rellick of Saltsburg, John “Boob” Nepsha of Saltsburg and Joe Nepsha and his wife, Pamela of Saltsburg and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Guido Enciso. All funeral arrangements are private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
