Glenn Jack Richards Sr.

Glenn Jack Richards, Sr., 80, of Nowrytown, Pa. passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Select Specialty Care, Latrobe, Pa. surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Monday, July 12, 1943 in Saltsburg, Pa., the son of the late Arthur J. and Dorothy Steele Richards. Before his retirement, he worked for Westinghouse as a machinist for over 30 years and finished his career at Akers National Roll in Avonmore. Glenn was a member of the Nowrytown Sportsmen’s Club and the Kiski Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and feeding and watching the deer. Glenn followed all the high school sports and was well versed with their statistics. He was a Saltsburg History buff and liked watching the History Channel. He is survived by his wife; Patricia “Patty” Ann Corridoni Richards, his children; Terri Ann Richards of Nowrytown, Glenn J. Richards Jr. and his wife, Tracy of Nowrytown, Robert H. Richards of Saltsburg and Deann L. Fink and her husband, Brandon of Saltsburg, 6 grandchildren; Samantha Platt and her husband, Mike of Clarksburg, Alyssa Richards of Saltsburg, Steven Richards and his fiancé, Hannah of Fox Chapel, Kassidy Richards of Nowrytown, Savanna Fink of Saltsburg and Miranda Richards of Saltsburg, 2 great grandchildren, Jo Jo and Logan  and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers; Johnny and Bob Richards and his sister; Dolores Dunmire. Private family visitation will be held on Tuesday followed by Parting Prayer Services in the funeral home with Father Salvatore Lamendola, officiating. Interment will be held in Saint Matthew Church Cemetery, Saltsburg.
