George Aaron Obituary

George Raymond Aaron, 79, of North Apollo, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Pa.  He was born on Friday, May 2, 1941 in Vandergrift, Pa., the son of the late James and Cora Fiscus Aaron. He was a United States Army Veteran. Before his retirement, he was a machinist for Allegheny Ludlum for 38 years. He was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church in Apollo, Pa., where he served as a Eucharistic Minister.He loved cars and owned over 100 throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed old westerns, fishing and going to the gym. George liked bluegrass music, playing the guitar and banjo and had a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit. He especially loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Garnet Dianne Morgan Aaron of North Apollo, his children, Lisa Aaron Reese of Monroeville, Sherrie Rearic and her husband, Cliff, of North Apollo, Tracey Aaron of North Apollo and Stephanie Aaron Tatar of North Apollo, 6 grandchildren, James Reese, Jessica Reese, Cayla Moore, Cody Rearic, Lucas Tatar and Sydney Maldonado and 2 great grandchildren, Carter Moore and Jonah Maldonado. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Kalinski and Irene Speer and his brothers, Robert Aaron and Wayne Aaron. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
