Gary William Thomas 75, of Kiski Township, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Monday, October 10, 1949 in North Braddock, PA, the son of the late Charles R and Margaret L Dedo Thomas. Before his retirement, he was employed by United States Steel Irvin Works in West Mifflin as a crane operator. He ended his working career at Helds Shop & Save in North Apollo. Gary loved to fish and golf, he was a great cook, enjoyed watching game shows and was an avid Steeler fan. He enjoyed reading the Bible and was considered the strength and “rock” of his family. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Hollice “Holly” M. Ryder Thomas, 11 children, Lori Tokarczyk and her husband, Tim, of McKees Rocks, Gary J. Thomas and his wife, Tara, of Maryland, Matthew Thomas of Pittsburgh, Lihua Thomas of North Apollo, Shawn Mullooly and his wife, Marla, of Murrysville, Reverend James Mullooly and his wife, Mary, of Latrobe, Michael Mullooly of Monroeville, Casey Mullooly of Oklahoma Borough, Melody Sacco and her husband, Paul, of Monroeville and Hope Taylor and her husband, Clifford, of Vandergrift. 22 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His brother, Charles Sonny Thomas and his wife, JoAnne, of Greensburg and sisters, Sandy Thomas of Dravosburg, and Bev Ronallo, of Level Green. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Vasko and a brother, Wayne Thomas. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in the Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc, 1916 Moore Avenue, North Apollo, from 2:00 PM until time of services at 6:00 PM. Services will be conducted in the funeral home at 6:00 PM with Reverend James Mullooly officiating. Interment will be private.
