Frank Robert Zanavich, 52, of Saltsburg (Bell Township), passed away, Monday, December 28, 2020, after injuries sustained in a house fire at his home. He was born, Wednesday, December 18, 1968, in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of Bernard Andrew Zanavich and the late Donna Jean Sampsell Zanavich. He was a member of the Kiski Heights Sportsmen Club. Frank loved WWE wrestling and boxing, watching sports on TV, reading, wrestling and football magazines, horror movies and walking the family dogs, Thor and Tank, who also perished in the fire.Frank also enjoyed going to camp and was happiest spending time with family. He will always be remembered for his big heart and wonderful sense of humor. He had a very special bond with his nephew, Justin, and niece, Brittany. In addition to his father, he is survived by his brothers, Bernard Andrew “Bernie”, Zanavich II, of Saltsburg, and John “Yonk” Zanavich of Tinsmill, two sisters, Karen Gould and her husband, Paul, of Saltsburg, and Sonya Zanavich (Jason Hoffman) of Baltimore, MD, and his nephew, Justin Gould, of Saltsburg, and niece, Brittany Gould, of Johnstown.
