Frank J. Tandaric, 88, of Avonmore, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at his home. He was born on Saturday, October 1, 1932 in Tinsmill, Pa., the son of the late Peter and Luby Severinac Tandaric. He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church and the PNA 1234 both in Avonmore, Pa. He was a United States Army Veteran, stationed in Alaska. He was an avid Pirate fan, enjoyed gardening and the Polka Jams in Avonmore. He was fondly called “Pappy”. Frank is survived by his step-children, Paul Proch and his wife, Sherry, of Knoxville, Tn. and Angie Householder and her husband, Gary, of Avonmore, Pa., his grandchildren, Brad Proch of Greenville, SC, Trisha Bufalini of Salina, Pa. and Mariah Householder of Avonmore, a great grandchild, Dylan and his sister, Ann Giaccardo of Apollo, Pa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Jane Bonelli Tandaric, a sister, Luby Dunmire and his brothers, George Tandaric, Joseph Tandaric and Peter Tandaric. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD; 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church with Father John Harrold as celebrant. Interment will be held at Westview Cemetery in Avonmore, Pa.
