Erma “Doll” Ardel Lukehart Koedel, 86, of Saltsburg, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at her home. She born on Friday, July 21, 1939, in Canada the daughter of the late Reese and Hazel Christy Lukehart. Before her retirement, she was the baker at Dobrosky’s Restaurant and cleaned for Kiski Prep and Waxlers Department Store in Indiana. She was an avid reader who enjoyed Guidepost and the Readers Digest. She was a race car driver in her earlier years at Marion Center Speedway. Erma was very involved in communications, for dispatching emergency vehicles in the Saltsburg area. She helped her husband with his photography business and always will be remembered as an awesome baker but most of all she loved her family and always put them first, especially her children. She spent a great deal of time with Mike, Tom, Terry and Christy, her nieces and nephews and Ail and Emmy. She is survived by her son William Earl Lukehart of Spring Church, her Daughter Vicky Gourley of Vandergrift and her sister, Regina Learn of Girty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Koedel in 1989, her brothers, Worth, Merle, Donald, Clair and Kenneth Lukehart and her sister, Devona “Sis” Reigh. All funeral arrangements are private.
