Elizabeth J. "Betty Jo" (Mance) Shellhammer

Elizabeth J. “Betty Jo” Mance Shellhammer, 80, of Apollo, Pa. passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at her home. She was born on Thursday, October 30, 1941 in Turtle Creek, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Duncan Mance. She enjoyed baking pies, going fishing, loved animals and socializing. Betty had a very loving and giving heart and no one was a stranger to her. Her faith in God was very strong. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Lloyd T. Shellhammer Jr., her children; Joseph Beers  (Ryan) of Denver, CO., Tracy Orbin of Markle, Amy Jo Guiher and her husband, David, of Shelocta, Stacy A. Shellhammer and his wife, Cheri,  of West Kittanning, Lori Ann Rumbaugh and her husband, Eric, of Avonmore and Nichole Byers and her husband, Jon, of Vandergrift, 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister; Edwina Walton and a brother in infancy.  All funeral arrangements were private.
