Dorothy L. (Altman) Fetterman

Dorothy L. Altman Fetterman, 93, of Hillsboro, Tx., formerly of Parks Twp., passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at daughter’s home. She was born on Friday, December 20, 1929 in Parks Twp., Pa., the daughter of the late Jasper V. and Erma Riggle Altman. Before her retirement, she worked for Sears-Roebuck Co. in Vandergrift and for the Vandergrift Telephone Co. where she was an operator. She enjoyed reading, traveling and listening to Christian music and music from her Era. She is survived by her daughter; Linda L. Stewart  of Hillsboro, Tx., her son; Daniel L. Fetterman and his wife, Mary, of Apollo, Pa., 2 grandchildren; Scott A. Rhodes and his wife, Jody, of Hillsboro, Tx., Sharon M. Lane and her husband, Steven, of Fort Worth, Tx., 2 great grandchildren, Parker Murray and her husband, Evan, of Springtown, Tx., Alissa Lee of Fort Worth, Tx, Jamie H. Rhodes and  Jeremy D. Rhodes of Hillsboro, Tx. and a great great granddaughter, Savannah Murray. In addition to her parents,  she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Fetterman Jr. and her sisters; Gladys Bates, Ruth Palmer, Louse McElhose and Darlene Altman. Interment will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell, Pa. All funeral arrangements are private. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15205.
