Dolores J (Aikins) Dunmire

Dolores J. Aikins Ukish Dunmire, age of 89 of Apollo, passed away Friday August 5, 2022 at her home. She was born Friday August 12, 1932 in Saltsburg, Pa., the daughter of the late Melvin A. and Grace Helen Ream Aikins. Before her retirement in 1982, she was employed by Federal Laboratories Inc. in Tunnelton, PA as a Machine operator. Dolores was a member of the Salina Bible Church in Bell Twp.. She enjoyed cutting grass on her eight acres, cooking, baking, crocheting, crafting, and keeping her house in perfect condition. She is survived by her  husband of 15 years, Kay Leland Dunmire; three sons; Doug Ukish of Apollo, Jeff Ukish and his wife Susan of Kiski Twp, and Danny Ukish and his wife Kim of Michigan; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a stepdaughter, Colleen Feiling and her husband Edward of Avonmore and step-granddaughter, Laura Wozinak and her husband George of Virginia Beach, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Pete Ukish, and a brother, Melvin A. Aikins. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 8th from 5:00 PM until time of Services at 7:00 PM at the Apollo Free Methodist Church, 1027 State Route 56 East, Apollo PA 15613. Funeral  Services will be conducted at 7:00 PM with Pastor Erika Rabickow officiating. Internment will held at Westview Cemetery in Avomore, Pa. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home, 1916 Moore Ave, North Apollo PA.
