Delbert Charles Wright

Delbert Charles Wright, 72, of Saltsburg, Pa. passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born in Latrobe, Pa. on April 27, 1951, the son of Delbert and Dorothy (Bell) Wright. Delbert is survived by his former spouse, Deborah, his daughter, Danielle (Harry Seigafuse), his sister, Linda (Ed Rombach) and his niece Holly Foley. Delbert was a fan of all sports. In his youth, he participated in softball, basketball and tennis and loved watching football, tennis and hockey. In addition to enjoying professional sports, he was an avid outdoorsman, a pastime he shared with many friends. In the spring and summer, he spent time at his camp in Warren County, traveled to Arkansas for fishing trips and canoed the Clarion, Susquehanna and Kiskiminetas Rivers. In the fall, he loved spending time in the woods and hunting deer and turkey. Later in life, he enjoyed the art of making wine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Sammy Brown. The family would like to thank all of Delbert’s friends who have been helpful though these last years, especially his life long and constant friend, Jimmy, and his best friend from work, Greg. Family will receive friends at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that the friends of Delbert continue to share their love and support with his family.
