Obituary

David Walter Campbell, 78, of Perrysville, Pa. passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at his home after a long battle with yard work. He was born on Friday, March 23, 1945 in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of the late Harry R. Sr. and Jeanett Shiels Campbell. Before his retirement, he worked as a stocker in the Wholesale Industry. He was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed horses, boating, trips to Ocean City, Md., camping and Model T. and classic cars. David will be remembered as the “perfect example of the mean old man everyone loved” and especially, for his kind heart. He is survived by his brothers; Harry Campbell of Saltsburg, Donald Campbell and his wife, Karen, of Wilks Barre, his nephews; Gary W. Campbell of Tinsmill and Kenneth R. Campbell and his wife, Rhonda, of Saltsburg and a niece, Laura Campbell of Wilks Barre. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson Dave Hill. Family will receive friends on Friday May 26, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. In the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 400 Indiana Ave Avonmore, Pa. Interment will be private.
