Cynthia (Cindy) Vigo

Cynthia (Cindy) Vigo, 69, of Kiski Township passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, with her husband and daughter by her side, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.

Born on October 21,1955, in Apollo, Pennsylvania, Cindy was the daughter of the late Franklin Joseph Vigo, Sr. and Erma Jean (Colwell) Vigo.

Cindy was a 1973 graduate of Apollo High School and varsity basketball player.  Upon graduation, she went on to work for People’s Natural Gas Company as a Dispatcher for over 20 years. 

She loved the pool, horseback riding, traveling, cooking, flower gardening, reading, camping, and playing poker with her closest friends.  Cindy’s greatest enjoyment was spending quality time with her family. 

Cindy is survived by her husband, Harry B. Reefer Jr., of Kiski Township; daughter, Nicole D. Rebyanski, of the South Hills; stepson Bradley D. Reefer, of Texas; brother Franklin Joseph "Joe" Vigo Jr., of Kiski Township; niece Maria (Steve) Kester, of Murrysville; nephew Orren (Erin) Vigo of Maryland; and several cousins.

Visitation will be from 1p.m to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, PA.  The private burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Cindy’s memory be directed to patient care at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.  Checks can be made payable to UPMC, gifts may be mailed with a memo indicating that this gift is in memory of Cynthia A.
