Curtis Eugene Askins

Curtis Eugene Askins, 53, of Kittanning, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at his home. He was born Monday, January 18, 1965 in Barberton, Ohio, the son of Lawrence and Donna Huey Askins .Curtis was a United States Marine veteran. He  enjoyed fishing, camping, the Steelers and was a talented artist. Curtis is survived by his parents, a brother, Shawn Askins of Blairsville, 2 sisters, Christine Arreola and her husband Rodolfo of Erie, Kelly Gamble and her husband Larry of Saltsburg, 1 nephew, Elan Arreola,  3 nieces,  Bronte Arreola, Morgan and Lauren Gamble and step-children Austin and Kenny.  He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Veda Kunkle.  Family will receive friends on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa. Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 8PM with Pastor Lee Rupert, officiating. Interment will be private.
