Craig Robert Pekarek

Craig Robert Pekarek 54 of Slickville, (Salem Twp.) Pennsylvania passed away on Monday August 9, 2021 in New Alexandria. He was born on Saturday October 22, 1966 in Plum Borough the son of late William R. Pekarek and Elizabeth Swank (Jake) of Plum Borough. Craig was employed by NDE as a Welding Inspector. He loved to work on cars and motorcycles, time spent with family, and will always be remembered as a generous man, “who would do anything to help out anyone “. In addition to his Mother he is survived by two children; Blaine Pekarek and his wife Janessa of Youngwood, and Ray Pekarek and his wife Kaila of Avonmore, four grandchildren; Kendyll, Tyler, Jax, and Wesley, two sisters; Tammy Tyner and her husband Sonny of Greensburg and Cindy Kennedy and her husband Jim of Plum, two brothers; Rick Pekarek of Lower Burrell and Doug Gilman of Washington D.C., and his Step Mother, Lucille Zimmer of Greensburg.  In addition to his Father he was preceded in death by his brother Dale Pekarek. A Memorial Service will be conducted at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 400 Indiana Ave. Avonmore, Pa.
