Claire Jean Hemke

Claire Jean Hemke, 71, of Kittanning, PA passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, at the Kittanning Care Center, in Kittanning.  She was born on Saturday, September 8, 1951 in Bell Township, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Ellen Williams Hemke.  Before her retirement, she was employed by Daily’s Juice in the packaging department.  She enjoyed arts, painting, ceramics and was an avid crafter.  Claire enjoyed attending church.  She is survived by three children, Nicholas C Klingensmith and his wife, Danielle, of Apollo, Shawn R Klingensmith and his wife, Rachel, of Chicora and Tammy Winters and her husband, Brad, of Pleasant Gap, seven grandchildren, Danika, Nikella, Dalaina, Nikoda, Nidana, Zoey and Alex, 3 brothers, Darryl Hemke of Arizona, Dale Hemke and his wife, Sue, of South Bend Township, Dana Hemke of Leechburg, 2 sisters, Barbara Mook and her husband, Raymond, of Washington Township and Lynn Hemke Crawford and her husband, Rod, of Washington Township and her sister-in-law, Peggy Hemke, of Reynoldsville.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald “Jim” Hemke and David Hemke.  Family will receive friends on Monday, March 6, 2023, in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Avenue, Avonmore, PA from 6:00 pm until time of services at 7:00 pm, with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating.
