Cheryl Ann (Ripple) Steele

Cheryl Ann Ripple Steele, 71, of Vandergrift, Pa. passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at her home. She was born on Wednesday, October 13, 1954, in Edmon, Pa., the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Aikens Ripple. She enjoyed playing bingo, listening to the oldies and was a jokester who kept everyone on their toes. She and her husband were very active members of the Little League in Vandergrift, Pa.  She was a loveable person who was loved by many and her 2 cats, Louie and Oliver but she especially loved the time she could spend with her family and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Jeremy Steele and his wife, Autumn of Vandergrift, Joshua Steele and his wife, April of Vandergrift and Jason Steele of Butler, 7 grandchildren, Andrew (Ciarra) Steele, Ian Steele, Zachary Steele, Mya Steele, Tyler Steele, Jeffery Steele and Isabella Stelle, 3 great grandchildren, Levi, Iris and Liam, her sister Joyce Galo and her husband, George of Edmon and a bonus daughter, Hayley Cannella. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey “Rudy” Steele in 2008, her sister, Pamela Barnes and her brother, Larry Bowman. All funeral arrangements are private.
