Charlotte Ann Conto Alsippi passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2021. Born February 9, 1942, she was the daughter of late Mary Irene Markitell Conto and Charles Albert Conto of Avonmore, Pennsylvania. Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband Paul W. Alsippi and daughter Gina M. Alsippi of Avonmore; son Paul M. Alsippi and daughter-in-law Edna L. White of Whitefish, Montana; grandson John C. Puskar, brother Robert Conto and partner Josie Bernabei of Avonmore; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased in death by brother Daniel L. Conto in 2000 and daughter Angela L. Alsippi in 2018. A lifelong member of Saint Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Charlotte also belonged to the Altar Rosary Society. She was a 1959 graduate of Bell-Avon High School and was a member of the Fannie Sellins Lodge. Charlotte enjoyed quilting, playing bingo, listening to polka and Italian music, and playing the button box accordion in her leisure time. She took delight in cooking for family and friends. Charlotte was a devoted wife, sister, mother, and grandmother who focused her energy on caring for her loved ones. She enjoyed numerous cross-country trips and sightseeing excursions, and she found peace and renewal in her visits to Montana. A selfless caregiver, Charlotte devoted her life toward providing comfort to her family. It was her greatest wish to have her loved ones close in presence and spirit. Deeply loved, Charlotte will be sorely missed and never forgotten. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 505 Cambria Ave., Avonmore, Pa. with Father John Harrold and Pastor Keith McCutcheon, co-officiating.
