Carolyn Alice (Clark) Klingensmith

Carolyn Alice Clark Klingensmith, 76, of Ford City, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at her home. She was born on Saturday, January 11, 1947 in Natrona Heights, Pa., the daughter of the late Layard and Gladys Wingard Clark.  Before her retirement, she worked for Allegheny Ludlum (ATI) in Leechburg, Pa.  for 30 years.  She will always be remembered as a super wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to sew, quilt, do crafts, cook and bake and garden.  She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Bruce Klingensmith, her children; Bruce Riggle and his wife, Tammie of Parks Twp. and Ann Stone (Dennis Danjou) of Ford City, her step children; Richard Klingensmith and his wife, Cathee, of Kiski Twp. and Brian Klingensmith (Michelle McMahon) of Ford City, her 11 grandchildren; Dustin Riggle, Dylan Riggle, Danielle Riggle, Samijo Stone, Tyler Stone, Ridge Stone, River Stone, Shelby Klingensmith, Gregory Klingensmith, Grant Klingensmith and Haley Klingensmith , 8 great grandchildren, her brother; Allen Clark and his wife, Claudia, of Vandergrift and a sister; Arlene Collini and her husband, Aldo of Vandergrift. She was preceded in death by her parents.  Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa. Funeral Services and Interment will be private.
