Carl Allen Beatty Sr.

Carl Allen Beatty Sr, 76, of Murrysville, Pa. passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Select Specialty Care in McKeesport, Pa. He was born on Friday, February 4, 1949, in Pittsburgh, Pa. the son of the late Walter D. and Garnett Miller Beatty. He was a United States Marine veteran. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post #6836. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting coins and time at the range. Carl is survived by his wife of 56 years, Georgia Jean Miller Beatty, his son; Carl A. Beatty Jr. and his wife, Jody of North Huntingdon and a daughter; Carol Jean Durandetto of Apollo and 4 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Theodore W. Beatty and a sister; Marilyn Peretto. A service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Twin Valley Memorial Park Chapel with Pastor Keith McCutcheon, officiating. Full military honors will be provided by VFW Post #33 of Greensburg, Pa. Everyone is to meet at the chapel at 12:50 PM.
