Bonnie Lou (Ashbaugh) Aungst

Bonnie Lou Ashbaugh Aungst, 79, of Nowrytown, Pa. passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Heritage Grove Personal Care, Indiana, Pa. She was born on Wednesday, June 13, 1945, in Nowrytown, Pa., the daughter of the late Albert D. and Mary A. Leone Ashbaugh. Before her retirement, she taught school for 35 years in the Apollo Ridge School District. She enjoyed reading, traveling, experiencing new things, scrapbooking and collecting children’s books. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Wallace Daniel Aungst, her children, Tania Lynn Wingfield and her husband, John of Indianapolis, IN. and Dane Lamont Williams of Nowrytown, Pa., her stepchildren, Wallace Steve Aungst of Knoxville, Tn. and Julie Danielle Steve and her husband, Doug of Indiana, Pa., her brother, Patrick R. Ashbaugh and his wife, Jackie of Nowrytown, Pa., her 3 grandchildren, Ciara Paciencia (Blake) of Chicago, Il. and Ben and Will Steve of Indiana, Pa., and her nieces, Stephanie Simpson and her husband, Donnie of Nowrytown and Missy Harr and her husband, Jordan of Saltsburg and her nephew, Patrick Ashbaugh and his husband, Nick of Apollo. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 PM with Pastor Robert Kephart, officiating. Interment will be held at Westview Cemetery, Avonmore, Pa.
