Betty Jo Bail 60, of Leechburg, Pa. passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2024, at her home, after a tragic house fire. She was born on Sunday November 17, 1963, in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of the late Denver and Hazel Elwood Claypool. Before her retirement in 2021, Betty was employed by a medical invoicing company. She will be remembered for her ability to nurture and take care of the elderly. She was an avid animal lover who enjoyed time spent with her two dogs, Hank and Abby and two her two cats Kiwi and Mango, who perished with her. Betty is survived by her daughter, Charity Hollis and her husband Ken of Apollo, a grandson, Dillon Butz-Hollis of Apollo, Stepchildren; Allison Bail of Bethel Park and Anthony Bail of McKees Rocks, three brothers; Jack Claypool of Apollo, Thomas Claypool and his wife Karen of Virginia, and Lee Claypool and his wife Jody of Saltsburg, three sisters; Brenda Lowers and her husband Rodney of Apollo, Becky Hall and her husband Steve of Indiana, and Patty Townsend and her husband Daniel of Vandergrift. In addition, to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John C. Bail in 2021. All services will be private.
