Audrey Mae (Doench) Prosser

Audrey Mae Doench Prosser  

December 18, 1924 - September 15, 2021

Audrey Doench Prosser has lived a very long life and has been blessed with 6 children: Audrey, Jeff, Chris, Jill, Scott, and Sean. There were also 9 grandchildren and at least 5 great grandchildren.  She was born in Pittsburgh, PA and married Charles Laverne Prosser.  Audrey worked at various places as a young woman but after she married and started her family she became a stay at home homemaker. With six children this was a 24/7 full time job. 

In later years after her children were grown and moved out of the house she became a volunteer for special needs children at the D.T. Watson facility in Sewickley, PA. She volunteered there until in her late 80’s when she had to undergo hip replacement therapy.  Audrey then lived in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh until her death,

Audrey was preceded in death by her mother and father, all of her siblings (3 sisters and two brothers), her husband Charles and her Son Scott Forrest Prosser.

In lieu of flowers Audrey would have appreciated donations be made to charitable organizations that support children in need.
