Ann Geraldine Matusin Thomas, 91, of Saltsburg (Conemaugh Twp.) passed away on Monday December 30, 2019 at her home. She was born February 20, 1928 in Blairsville, Pa. the daughter of the late John and Agnes Turkovich Matusin. Before her retirement, she was employed by Federal Laboratories in Saltsburg as a Secretary.  Ann was a member of Saint Matthew Roman Catholic Church in Saltsburg. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, was an avid reader and loved lunches with friends on Sundays. She is survived by her son, Larry E. Thomas and his wife Laura of Freeport, three grandchildren; Dana Thomas –Weber and her husband Branden of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Jennifer Hartle and her husband Jacob of Freeport and Heather Thomas- Rinaldi and her husband Mike of Butler, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold “Tony” E. Thomas, a sister Mary Kohuth and a brother John Matusin. Family will receive friends on Friday January 3, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. until time of Parting Prayer Services at 6:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 400 Indiana Ave. Avonmore, Pa. Services will be conducted in the Funeral Home at 6:00 P.M. with Father John Harrold officiating. Interment will be held in Saint Matthew Church Cemetery in Saltsburg.
