Sherry Dawn Knepshield Umbaugh, 72, of Avonmore (Kiski Twp.) , Pa., passed away at her home on Friday, March 30, 2018. She was born Saturday, September 29, 1945 in Kiski Twp. the daughter of the late Emerald and Margaret McMean Knepshield. Sherry was a bookkeeper/Accountant for various local businesses and a licensed beautician. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers, watching birds and animals in the yard, watching golf on television and was an avid Steeler fan. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Allen Carl Umbaugh, a daughter, Lisa Ann, 2 sons, James A. Umbaugh and his fiancé, Kristi Woods of Monongahela and Jason A. Umbaugh and his wife, Erin, of Ford City and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Umbaugh and a sister, Judy Bresuciak. Private viewing and services were held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa. Pastor Gary Lyon officiated. Interment was held at the Spring Church Lutheran Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions be made in her memory to: Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church, 1668 PA-56, Spring Church, Pa. 15686.
