Rose Ann (Bottegal) Corridoni

Rose Ann Bottegal Corridoni, 80, of Avonmore, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at her home. She was born Saturday, May 14, 1938 in San Donato DiLamon Belluno, Italy, the daughter of the late Antonio and Vittoria Cengia Bottegal. Before her retirement, she worked at Robert Shaw Indiana Assembly for 10 years and then 23 years for Breeze Industries in Saltsburg. Rose was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church where she was member of the Altar Rosary Society and she was also a  member of the Avonmore Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, word search puzzles and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ronald “Dean” Corridoni, 3 sons, Anthony Corridoni and his wife, Debbie, of Zelienople, Michael Corridoni of Avonmore and Rick Corridoni of Saltsburg, 4 grandchildren, Maria Iorfido and her husband, Francis, of Dubois, Matthew Corridoni of Washington DC, Amanda Toal and her husband, Richard, of Zelienople and Ryan Corridoni of New York City, 3 great grandchildren, Gabriella, Richard and Penelope Toal, a brother-in-law, Harry Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Theresa A. Brown and Maria A. Bash. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. 15618.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 10AM in St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 505 Cambria Ave., Avonmore, Pa.  Father John Harrold will be celebrant. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Avonmore.
