Ronald Richard Kestner

Ronald Richard Kestner, 79, of Leechburg (Allegheny Twp) passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Leechburg. He was born Monday, November 21, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Pa. the son of the late Richard A. and Dolores R. Stauffer Kestner. Before his retirement, he was employed by Allegheny Ford in Pittsburgh, McGill Ford in Indiana, Truck Service Co. in Plum and Ryder Corporation in the logistics department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and especially the time he spent teaching his children fishing. He also enjoyed watching his  Granddaughter dance. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Cheryl Ann Glaister Kestner, 6 children Ronald R. Kestner and his wife Kelly of Missouri, Tiffany M. George and her husband Lewis of Apollo, Donald R. Kestner of Leechburg and Larry K. Kestner and his wife Patricia of Shelocta, Joyce L. Bober and her husband John of Gibsonia and Ronald D. Kestner and his wife Carla of Plum, 8 grandchildren,  7 great grandchildren and a sister Joyce Conn of Plum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Betty L. Deming Kestner, a brother Lawrence Kestner and a sister Janice Boone. At his request, all services were private.
