Patricia Faye (Duckworth) Flickinger

Patricia Faye Duckworth Flickinger 86 of Apollo (Washington Twp.) passed away Saturday July 15, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 16, 1931 in Apollo the daughter of the late Walter John and Ellen Viola Black Duckworth. Patricia was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church of Pine Run. She was homemaker, who enjoyed sewing, quilting, making hard tack candy with her family, and baking. She will always be remembered for her famous nut rolls, and buns. Patricia was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of sixty- seven years Lewis J. "Dork" Flickinger, five children; Nancy Blazavich and her husband Ron of Indiana, Judy Faye Cambal of Apollo, Michael Flickinger and his wife Pam of Spring Church, Mark Flickinger and his wife Peggy of Clarion, and Lisa Flickinger and her wife Jennifer Synuria of Apollo, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, four great-great grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John W’. “Bud” Duckworth, and six sisters; Madeline Ross, Loyette Bowman, Maxine Fouse, Marian “Ruth” Kovach, Carol Janosik and Ina Mae Duckworth (In infancy). Family will receive friends on Wednesday July 19, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 1916 Moore Ave. North Apollo, Pa. An additional hour of viewing will take place one hour prior to services at 10:00 A.M in the Pine Run Evangelical Church, on Thursday July 20, 2017. Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Joshua Strunk officiating.  Interment will follow in Pine Run Cemetery.
