Myrtle "Rose" (Rupert) LeDonne

Myrtle “Rose” Rupert LeDonne, 97, of Washington Twp., passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Allegheny Valley Hospital. She was born Friday, August 12, 1921 in Spring Church, the daughter of the late Clarence and Sarah Carney Rupert.  She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, putting puzzles together, doing crossword puzzles, yard work and watching the Pirates. She loved spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She is survived by her son, James C. LeDonne and his wife, Genevieve, of Washington Twp, her daughter, Sharon L. Herbster and her husband, Russell, of Washington Twp., 6 grandchildren, Christina Kovitch of Allegheny Twp., James A. LeDonne and his wife, Denise, of Washington Twp., Daniel LeDonne and his wife, Anna, of Washington Twp., Matthew Herbster and his wife, Leigh, of Burmingham, Mi., Stephen Herbster and his wife, Rose, of Charlotte, NC and Sara Lickfeld and her husband, Eric, of King, NC, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. LeDonne, 4 brothers, Lawrence, James, Norman and Homer Rupert, 4 sisters; Margaret Bier, Mae Osheski, Edith Cook and Beatrice Craig. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 2PM to 4PM  and 6PM to 8PM at the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa. An additional hour of viewing will take place, one hour prior to services beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the North Apollo Church of God, 507 20th St., North Apollo, Pa. on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Services will be held at 10:00AM with Pastor Lee Rupert, Officiating. Interment will be held at Saint Gertrude Cemetery in Vandergrift, Pa.
