Mary D. Serena Tatone 93 of Saltsburg passed away Wednesday July 11, 2018 at William Penn Care Center in Jeannette. She was born Saturday October 18, 1924 in Avonmore the daughter of the late William and Daisy Hill (Forsha) Serena. Before her retirement she was employed as an LPN at Torrance State Hospital in Blairsville, Pa, for 25 years. Mary was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Avonmore. She enjoyed reading and watching westerns on TV. She loved to play bingo and mahjong. She is survived by three children; Harry Carnahan Sr. and his wife Linda of Blairsville, Alberta Lauda of Saltsburg, and Vicki Holbrook and her husband James of Saltsburg, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Tatone, a son, Ralph Carnahan, a grandson, Harry C. Carnahan Jr. a brother, Harry Serena and a sister, Evelyn Rupert. At Mary’s request all arrangements are private.
