Louise E. (DeSimone) DeForno

Louise E. DeSimone DeForno, of Salina, and most recently Williamsville, NY, passed away Wednesday, June 14, at the age of 96. She was born January 22, 1921, in Edri (Kiski Twp.), PA, the daughter of the late Patrizio and Carmella Sacco DeSimone. Louise and her husband owned and operated DeForno’s Service Station and general store in Perrysville. She was a member of Saint Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Avonmore. She is survived by her daughter Linda Santa Maria (Phillip, deceased) of Williamsville, NY, son Richard DeForno and his wife Stephanie of Chester Springs, PA, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Eugene DeForno, her son Allan DeForno, her brothers John, Frank, Samuel, Donald, and Michael, and her sisters Julie Gallick and Helen Lilli. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 16, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd., 400 Indiana Ave. Avonmore, PA. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Avonmore with Father Salvatore Lamendola as celebrant.
