Leah Mae (McPherson) Giesey

Leah Mae McPherson Giesey, 82, of Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at St. Andrews Villiage in Indiana, Pa. She was born Friday, September 18, 1936 in Donora, Pa. the daughter of the late Stephen and Betsy Cochenour  McPherson. Before her retirement, she worked in Children & Youth Services in Indiana and Centre Counties. Leah was an avid reader, liked bingo, socializing and was extremely caring and loved her family. She is survived by her 5 children; Laura Lee Giesey of State College, Rochele Fisher of Lincoln, DE, Sharon Fetzer of State College, James Giesey and his  wife, Malia, of Indiana , 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kayla Fetzer.  At her request, all arrangements were private.
