Jeffrey Layne Deemer

Jeffrey Layne Deemer, 55 Indiana Pa, died July 14,2018 at Butler Memorial Hospital. 
Jeff was the son of the Joyce Miliron and the late Dwight Deemer.
He was in 1981 graduate of Saltsburg High School, where he enjoyed playing football and wrestling with his teammates.
Jeff was a jack of all trades and was happiest when helping others. Jeff was a volunteer football coach for the North Scranton Vikings in the late 90s where he enjoyed spending time and teaching the kids. He always spoke fondly of those memories. He was often called the pied piper because of his fun loving way of making children have fun. 
He loved fishing, hunting and watching football. Especially the Steelers and Penn State. 
He is survived by his wife, Colleen Deemer and their three children.
Brandon Matthew Deemer Scranton, Maura Layne Deemer Scranton and Alex Devon Deemer Scranton. 
He is also survived by his mother Joyce Deemer and five siblings. 
Cindy Cribbs and husband Mike, Christine Rowley and husband Dan, Douglas Deemer and wife Izzy, Darla Lowman and companion Jeff and Kimberly Lamburn and husband Wil. Also many nieces and nephew. 
The family would like to thank all of those at Butler Memorial Hospital who cared for Jeff during this time especially the CORE team.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
