Imogene Elaine Yount Parson, 76, of Indiana (White Township), passed away, Saturday, November 17, 2018, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. She was born In Burrell Township, the daughter of the late William John and Sarah Frick Yount, on Sunday, April 19, 1942. She enjoyed crafting, knitting/crocheting and was a great organizer. She is survived by her husband, Warren Keith Parson, two children, Patricia Jean Claypool of Parkwood, and Timothy Alan Ross (Janice Keim) of Kittanning, three grandchildren, Melissa Claypool of Parkwood, Crystal Stewart (Jeremy Hemke) of South Bend Township and Tonya Polka and her husband, Jared, of Ohio, and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kathy Luella Farester in 2012, three sisters, Ila Parks, Eileen Hillegass and Iona Small. At her request all arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home, LTD, 400 Indiana Avenue, Avonmore, PA 15618. Interment will be in the South Bend Township Cemetery.
